About us
Swansea Cats and Kittens has been set up by a group of volunteers who are passionate about helping the cats and kittens in the Swansea area. Some of the volunteers have been helping cats in Swansea for over 25 years.
Swansea Cats and Kittens is run exclusively by volunteers. There are no paid employees which means that every penny that is raised goes towards helping the Cats and Kittens in the Swansea area.
What we do
As we are just starting our new venture, we are currently limited in what we can achieve as we have very limited funds, but we hope to increase our activity over the next weeks and months when we will be back to helping as many cats and kittens as we can.
We will start by concentrating on any vulnerable cats and kittens that need help and bring them into our foster homes where they will be vet checked, treated for worms/fleas, vaccinated, microchipped and if appropriate neutered before they will be ready for homing.

Adoption process
If you are looking for a new cat or kitten to welcome into your home, then look no further. We always have a wonderful selection of cats and kittens looking for new families through no fault of their own.
Browse through the cats and kittens we have advertised and have a look for a cat or kitten that you think may fit into your lifestyle. We always try and give a true representation of the cat – good and not-so-good details, as we are passionate about matching the right cat with the right family.

Killay Pet Shop Wish List
We have now partnered with the fantastic Killay Pet Shop (Broadmead, Killay) for our Wish List. They have set up a WISH LIST for Swansea Cats. This means that rather than use a large corporation, we are able to encourage more people to shop locally with all the benefits that brings and helps save our local communities.
Any goods bought through the Killay Pet Shop Wish List will be picked up regularly by our volunteers and distributed to our foster homes, community cats and the feral colonies that we are supporting. If you would rather donate in person rather than online, then pop along to the shop in Broadmead Killay and they will be happy for you to donate to the Wish List.
